The search and preservation of ancient objects and artifacts is gaining increased momentum in Peqin. The personal, cultural and historic value of these antiquities is priceless to Peqin's residents, and to Albania's history as a whole. By adopting an archaeological approach, we understand that these artefacts are in no way neutral; they are physical remnants of social relations, daily realities, and cultural contexts.

People bond with these objects and symbols as they relate to them with their own stories, and we are able to allow people to revisit the past by restoring and displaying these objects. Peqin district, being an old settlement of over 2000 years, is rich with archeological artefacts and antiques however more needs to be done to further the search process in this area.
